Good Samaritan is seeking a compassionate CNA PRN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team serving underserved communities. As a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work variable, as‑needed shifts to support our nurses and providers in delivering holistic, patient‑centered care. You will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility, while helping patients feel respected, safe, and heard. In this role, you will obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, and other basic clinical observations, promptly reporting any changes in condition to licensed staff. You will assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning, using proper body mechanics and safety equipment to prevent falls and injury. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and infection‑controlled environment by restocking supplies, preparing rooms, and following established protocols. Working within Good Samaritan Health Center’s mission‑driven culture, you will serve individuals and families who may face barriers to care, offering compassion, integrity, and culturally sensitive communication at every encounter. You will collaborate closely with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support holistic health and wellness, contribute to coordinated care plans, and participate in team huddles and trainings aimed at improving patient outcomes and community health. This PRN position is ideal for CNAs who value flexibility and want to gain broad clinical experience while making a meaningful impact on community wellness. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinical setting, following clear policies and procedures, using electronic documentation, and consistently upholding patient rights, privacy, and dignity.
