Valiant is looking for a Part-Time Computer Operator I to join our team. This position reports directly to the Lead Operator. Essential duties and responsibilities include setting up all trainer requirements associated with training missions, responding within a designated time to instructor, trainee or inspector requirements for trainer operation and control in support of training missions, operating each console for insertion of flight variables, mission parameters and trainer malfunctions, communicating with Blue forces during simulated training scenarios, researching and inserting various mission problems and trainee/trainer malfunctions, responding within five minutes of notification for unscheduled missions, performing janitorial services on assigned spaces as required, and working any shift and weekends as specified by contract for this site. Other duties as assigned.
Position requirements include 12+ months experience with computer applications and/or software, or possess Microsoft Office/Computer Certification, or a minimum of three (3) months experience working with aviation simulators. Must possess the ability to obtain a US Passport and must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
Clearance requirements: Active Secret. Physical requirements include the ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs.
