We are seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to lead, enforce, and elevate safety across our construction operations. This is not a desk-only role—you’ll be equally engaged in the field and in the office , driving real impact where it matters most.

If you’re a construction safety professional who thrives on accountability, leadership, and building a culture where safety comes first—this is your opportunity to step into a high-impact role with a company that truly values its people.

What You’ll Do

Lead Safety Culture

  • Maintain accurate records of training, certifications, and compliance documentation

Field Safety (50%)

  • Conduct routine and unannounced jobsite inspections
  • Observe crews in real-time and proactively correct unsafe behaviors
  • Attend preconstruction meetings, job start-ups, and safety briefings
  • Collaborate with GCs and customer safety teams to ensure alignment
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions on the spot

Office & Administrative Safety (50%)

  • Prepare and manage safety submittals , site-specific plans, and compliance documentation
  • Handle jobsite incident reporting, injury claims, and investigations
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans
  • Track safety metrics and report trends to leadership
  • Ensure OSHA compliance across all projects and operations

Program Oversight & Compliance

  • Maintain and enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies
  • Oversee PPE programs, inspections, and distribution
  • Ensure all jobs meet safety requirements from preconstruction through completion
  • Stay current on regulatory updates and industry best practices

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Proven experience as a Safety Manager or Safety Professional in a construction environment
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to split time effectively between field and office responsibilities
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • OSHA 500 certification (highly preferred)
  • OSHA 30 (minimum baseline)
  • CHST, CSP, or other advanced safety certifications
  • Experience working on commercial construction jobsites

What You Can Expect

  • A company recognized as one of Austin’s Best Places to Work
  • A role where you are visible, respected, and impactful
  • The opportunity to shape and lead safety culture , not just enforce it
  • Competitive compensation and long-term career stability
  • A team that values people, accountability, and doing things the right way

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a true 50/50 leadership role —not stuck behind a desk, and not just walking jobs. You’ll have ownership over both the strategy and execution of safety , making a measurable difference every day.
