Location: Metro Atlanta, Georgia & Charlotte, NC

Project Type: Tilt-Wall, Tilt-Up / Industrial & Commercial Construction

Position Overview

A well-established national commercial general contractor with a strong presence in the Metro Atlanta and Charlotte markest is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up tilt-wall construction projects ranging from $5M to $30M. Headquartered in Cedartown, Georgia, along with our branch offices in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Charlotte, and Stafford, Virginia, we are strategically positioned to maximize focus on our clients’ needs throughout the United States.

This individual will serve as the on-site leader responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring schedule adherence, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The Lead Superintendent will play a critical role in delivering successful industrial and commercial projects throughout the Atlanta area.

This team currently has needs in:

6 active tilt-wall projects in Metro Atlanta

3–4 projects in the Charlotte market

Will continued expansion throughout the Southeast — growing into Mid-Florida

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through final completion
  • Manage tilt-wall construction sequencing, including slab-on-grade, structural steel, and building envelope installation
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce detailed project schedules
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
  • Conduct daily jobsite meetings and maintain detailed field reports
  • Oversee quality control to ensure work meets plans, specifications, and local building codes
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Engineers, and Inspectors
  • Manage inspections, punch lists, and project close-out procedures
  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally on-site

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial or industrial projects
  • Proven experience leading tilt-wall construction projects ($5M–$30M preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor management
  • Ability to lead teams and drive accountability in the field
  • Experience with construction management software and technology platforms
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Stable work history with reputable commercial general contractors

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $124,000 – $130,000 annually
  • 45-hour weekly structure
  • Overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 45 per week
