Job Description

Location: Columbus, OH

Salary: $115,000–$125,000

Perks: Company truck or $700 vehicle allowance + $2,500–$3,500 monthly living allowance for travel

We are seeking highly capable Construction Superintendents to join a nationally prestigious general contractor known for delivering large‑scale, complex commercial and industrial projects. This is a field‑driven, boots‑on‑the‑ground role for leaders who thrive in the trenches, take full ownership of project outcomes, and excel at driving teams through execution.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned superintendent with proven experience running major industrial construction projects, managing P&L–impacting decisions, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations.

This role may require significant travel, and candidates will receive a strong monthly living allowance when working away from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily onsite operations and drive all field activities.
  • Coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain schedules, enforce safety, and uphold quality standards.
  • Solve problems in real time and manage P&L‑affecting decisions.
  • Oversee industrial construction disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical).
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years supervising large industrial or commercial construction projects.
  • Experience on projects $50M+ .
  • Strong leadership in the field—capable of motivating crews and resolving issues quickly.
  • Ability to travel long‑term; valid U.S. driver’s license required.
  • Strong scheduling, safety, and cost‑control awareness.
