Role Description This is a contract and fully remote position for a Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist will handle credentialing and recredentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting credentialing applications, maintaining accurate provider records, and managing communication with healthcare professionals and insurance providers. Efficient handling of all carrier plans credentialing processes will also be part of the role. Qualifications Strong skills in Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing, with a focus on compliance and attention to detail Effective Communication and Customer Service skills for maintaining provider and payer relationships Proficiency in Medicare and Medicaid credentialing processes Organized and self-motivated to work independently in a remote setting Familiarity with healthcare administration and regulatory standards is a plus Previous experience in a credentialing-related role is strongly preferred
