About the Role As a Craft + Code Drone Operator, you’ll capture the breathtaking aerials that define our clients’ first impression. From elegant property flyovers to cinematic brand storytelling, your work helps transform listings and local businesses into visual experiences. You’ll collaborate with our photographers, videographers, and editors to deliver cohesive, luxury-grade content that feels cinematic, clean, and intelligent. What You’ll Do Capture aerial photos and videos for real estate listings, luxury properties, and small businesses. Fly creative, cinematic routes that showcase emotion, design, and storytelling. Collaborate with our media and editing teams for seamless visual integration. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and local flight restrictions. Deliver clean, high-resolution files through Google Drive within defined deadlines. Represent the Craft + Code brand with professionalism and creative excellence. Who You Are FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Operator (required). Owns and maintains professional‑grade drone equipment (DJI Mini 3, Air 2S, Mavic 3, etc.). Skilled at capturing smooth cinematic motion, dynamic angles, and natural lighting. Detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently on location. Communicative and punctual — understands client spaces and professionalism. Passionate about creative visual storytelling — not just “getting the shot.” Safety & Compliance FAA Part 107 standards. Local airspace laws (including Class B/C restrictions). Craft + Code’s brand and client confidentiality policies. Compensation Per Project: $300–$800 (depending on property size, complexity, and deliverables). Add‑ons: Video edit requests or dual‑operator shoots include bonuses. Payment: Net‑5 via Stripe or PayPal upon file delivery and approval. Growth Path Performing drone operators can grow into: Core Aerial Partner – Priority access to all DFW aerial projects.
