Executive Oncology Sales Specialist – Solid Tumor Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan; Detroit, Michigan, United States. Job Summary The Executive Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS) is a field-based role reporting to a District Manager. The OSS is responsible for selling current and potential oncology therapeutics, providing clinical support, and driving sales growth across the assigned territory. Responsibilities Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential oncology therapeutics. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the product’s clinical efficacy, articulate a value proposition, and provide clinical support/information to customers. Conduct business analysis, actively prospect for new business within assigned accounts, and develop account strategies with the District Manager. Develop customer‑specific pre‑ and post‑call plans that include objectives, probes, and approved materials. Optimally penetrate new and current accounts to increase sales in the assigned territory. Apply all marketing tools and resources, including computer‑generated presentations, and use closing skills to move sales to the next step. Discuss reimbursement options with customers to improve sales opportunities in a compliant manner. Negotiate sales and close orders to meet sales objectives. Required Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary (overnights and/or weekends). Minimum of two (2) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active‑duty military experience in hospital and large account sales with reimbursement expertise, Medicare Part D, and a detailed history of successful sales performance. Willingness to satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements, including TB tests, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), and Varicella (chickenpox). Annual background checks by Janssen Biotech, Inc. required. Residing in, or willing to relocate to, the geographic area. Preferred: Specialty sales experience and understanding of the Solid Tumor and Oncology market.
