S/he must make sure that the load comes in the appropriate temperature and accordantly with Cardenas Markets Receiving Policy. The Inbound Receiver is also in charge of capturing the attributes for every pallet on the DC system and labeling them accordingly./ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3pThe essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliEnsure trailer is under safe and clean condition before unloading./liliConfirm all POS are received accordantly to their schedule and with the proper BOL./liliMake sure the QTY match on bill of lading (BOL) and physically correct BOL if needed./liliMake sure all staged products pass by Quality Control department before BOL sign-in./liliEnsure all Labels print out are placed to the right corner of the corresponding pallet./liliSend all BOL received to DC office in a timely manner./liliEmail report of any PO received after receiving hours and/or without appointment./liliSend an email to Buyers regarding any rejected PO./liliMake sure the workstation and department are clean before end of shift./li/ulh3Skills And Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred./lili1+ year(s) of experience in a warehouse environment./liliTeamwork oriented and self-motivated./liliStrong attention to detail./liliAbility to use a computer./liliAbility to communicate effectively with others./liliGood attendance and punctual; must show up on time and able to work scheduled shifts and mandatory overtime./liliBilingual English/Spanish a plus./liliElectric pallet jack and reach experience is preferred./li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3pWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Member is required to stand for long periods of time. Additional requirements include frequent lifting of material up to 75 pounds; frequently twisting, turning, reaching, pushing, and pulling; handle tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Experience on the use of an electric pallet jack and reach is preferred./ph3Work Environment/h3pWork is normally performed in a warehouse/production environment. As part of the job requirements, Team Members may be exposed to work in a production setting and extreme temperature (10 to 100 degrees) at times. Facility regularly processes known food allergens, including peanuts. Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility.
