Job Description

Overview:We are seeking a Japanese Marketing Specialist to join our Guangzhou team. You will be the key voice connecting our brand with the Japanese audience. Your mission is to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and growth in the Japanese market through compelling, culturally nuanced content across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
● Plan, write, and edit high-quality Japanese content for various channels, including but not limited to blog articles, product guides, and newsletters.
● Translate and culturally adapt the company's main website, product pages, and marketing collaterals from English into compelling, natural-sounding Japanese.
● Create engaging, platform-specific content for key Japanese social media (X/Twitter, Note, etc.) to foster community growth and strengthen brand loyalty.
● Ensure marketing content t is fully localized for the Japanese market by adapting tone, messaging, visuals, and UX elements to align with local user preferences and cultural norms.
● Collaborate with the global marketing team to localize and execute integrated marketing campaigns and promotions.
● Conduct ongoing analysis of Japanese market trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform content strategy.
● Monitor performance metrics (traffic, conversion) and report on the effectiveness of Japanese content initiatives.
Qualifications:
● Native-level Japanese proficiency with exceptional writing and editing skills. JLPT N1 certification is also considered.
● A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in content marketing, copywriting, and/or website translation & localization for the Japanese market.
● Deep understanding of Japanese digital consumer behavior, social media culture, and online trends.
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Japanese Language, or a related field.
● Functional proficiency in English or Chinese to facilitate seamless communication within our international team.
