TITLE: Litigation Associate

Firm X , a mid-sized law firm in the NJ/NY metro area, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Parsippany office. This role offers hands-on experience across a broad range of civil litigation matters in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and advise clients
• Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and mediations
• Handle e-filings in state and federal courts
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Negotiate settlements and assist with case strategy

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active New Jersey Bar admission (required)
• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Personal injury defense experience
• Trial experience
• Federal court/civil rights (Title 59) experience preferred
• New York Bar admission - not required
