Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking dedicated Packaging 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift to join their dynamic team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be an integral part of the production process, supporting the packaging department to ensure efficient, high-quality output. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Packaging 

Location: Bohemia, NY

Pay Range: $18.25-$21.25 per hour

Shift: 
1 st shift 7:00AM-3:30PM Mon-Fri
2 nd shift 3:00PM- 11:30PM Mon-Fri
3 rd shift 11:00PM-7:30AM Sun- Thurs

Duration: TEMP-TO-HIRE

• Support the team to maintain adequate supplies of materials for the assigned production run
• Ensure materials are replenished to prevent shortages and report low levels, damages, or inconsistencies promptly
• Assemble and fold cardboard components as part of the packaging process
• Carefully arrange products into trays and stack them onto pallets for shipping
• Wrap products, trays, and cartons with plastic to ensure proper protection and stability, utilizing manual or machine methods

What's Needed?

• 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment preferred
• High school diploma or GED - Required
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to follow safety procedures, including company safety standards
• Ability to speak, read, write in English and understand simple instructions
