opportunity! Job Skills / Requirements LACOSTA Facility Services is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. This role involves painting, facility cleaning, and machine cleaning within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and a strong understanding of safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
Pre-employment drug screen and background check are REQUIRED
Schedule: Monday - Friday
- 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Pay : Paid weekly (every Friday)
- $18-22/hr Depending on experience
Painting Duties - Apply paint to various surfaces:

- Walls, floors, doors
- Safety poles and rails
- Prepare surfaces before painting:
-
- Scraping, sanding, priming, sealing
- Fill cracks and holes using:
- Caulk, putty, or other fillers
- Protect surrounding areas with:
-
- Drop cloths or plastic coverings
Cleaning & Facility Maintenance - Perform general facility cleaning tasks
- Conduct machine cleaning as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times
Equipment & Safety - Operate ladders and high lifts when required
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Utilize Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when working on or around machines
- Properly use paints, chemicals, and solvents
- Wear required PPE:

- Hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety vest, etc.
Team & Work Expectations - Follow directions from the Department Supervisor
- Work collaboratively with Specialty and Operations teams
- Be flexible with changing tasks and job assignments
- Adhere to all plant rules and company policies
Requirements - Prior painting and surface preparation experience
- Experience with drywall and sheetrock repair
- Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional, reliable, and positive attitude
Ability to understand: - Safety signs and warning systems
- Company policies and procedures
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times
