Overview
The Painter is responsible for preparing and applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.


Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform minor repairs to surfaces as needed.

Requirements

• Previous painting or maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of painting tools and techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift as required.

Work Environment:

• May involve indoor and outdoor work.
• Requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials.
