We are currently hiring for a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney.

We are a high volume personal injury law firm and looking to hire a new attorney. This attorney will be working on a high volume docket. This is a great long-term career opportunity with lots of potential for growth and is ideal for someone who wants to be a top level attorney. 0-5+ years of experience in personal injury is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include :

• For Pre-litigation Attorney: All aspects of pre-litigation, including demands, negotiations, and case evaluations.
• Help resolve client issues as they arise.
• Take direction from managing attorneys and execute assignments in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Required: JD and must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• Required: Must have valid TX driver license.
• 0-5+ years in personal injury preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Competencies:

• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Excellent work ethic with the drive to "get the job done".
• Must be approachable and able to communicate effectively with professionalism.

Attorney Compensation & Benefits:

Pre-Litigation Associate

• $100,000.00 - $165,000.00 DOE
• Bonus structure evaluation and opportunity for raises end of Q4 of 2026.
• Student loans assistance after one year tenure or three years experience in personal injury as attorney. (No cap/limit on total amount).
• Annual raises in December are to be expected with good performance.

Path to Partnership :

Salaries listed represent the minimum starting salary for each title.

Associate (First 4-6 years with firm) (This Posting)

• Starting at 100,000 - $125,000+ (Salary & Bonuses)
• Paid TX State Bar Dues
• Paid CLE Courses
• Paid TTLA & CATLA membership dues
• All firm benefits (detailed at the bottom)
• Student loan reimbursement after one year tenure

Senior Associate (Qualifications for Consideration: 4-6 Years with Firm or Upper-level management tenure) (Not this posting)

• Starting at $180,000+ (Salary & Bonus)
• Same benefits as Associate; and
• Company car
• Additional student loan assistance

Partner (4-7 years with firm and 7-12 years as a practicing attorney in personal injury) (Not this posting)

• Starting $300,000+ (Salary + Bonus)
• Same benefits as Senior Associate; and
• Contract with SJ Law Firm which includes additional benefits
• Supplementary gift

Senior Partner (12+ years with firm & 15 years as a practicing attorney) (Not this posting)

• Starting $400,000+ (Salary + Bonuses)
• Same benefits as Partner and
• Additional contractual benefits
• Additional supplementary gift
