Job Description

Duration: 04-month contract with Extension

Work schedule:

• 2-3-2 Rotating 12 Hour Work Schedule (Day: 6 A to 6 P / Night: 6P to 6A) (2 Days On, 2 Days Off, 3 Days On, 2 Days Off, 2 Days On, 3 Days Off (swing to days/mids))
• 28 day (4-week cycle)
• 42 hours per week
• 2 hours OT/week

Job Description:

• Responsible for providing hands-on support for identifying and implementing process improvements, variability reduction, defect reduction, process control, throughput improvements and 6-Sigma initiatives.
• Collect key process data and support the execution of experiments at the direction of the plant process engineers.
• Analyze data sets to identify relationships/capabilities for line performance
• Support the development of standard work documentation to include SOPs, SOS, Job Aids and Training Documentation.
• Supports problem-solving in manufacturing, including root cause identification and resolution.
• Ensures safe work practices.

Minimum Experience:

• 2+ years required, 5+ preferred in a manufacturing environment

Required skills/experiences:

• Experienced WITH and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment providing hands-on technical support.
• Willingness to work shifts
• Technical curiosity with the ability to learn quickly
• Capable of multitasking
• Must be a self-starter, able to work in team environment.
• Strong data analysis, interpretation, visualization, and problem-solving skills

Education:

• BS in mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial engineering strongly preferred
