As a Security Officer Beat Patrol in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned buildings and grounds, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security‑related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will communicate clearly with students, staff, and visitors while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate campus resources and/or public emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points and common areas for unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or hazards, and report observations to supervision per site procedures. Complete security-related reports, log entries, and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift briefings and post turnovers. Minimum Requirements: A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
