Store Puller

Job Description : Reporting to the Driver Coordinator, the Store Puller position is responsible for ensuring the proper parts are pulled quickly and accurately in order to surprise ABC’s customers with exceptional service. Pullers will get the right parts to the right place at the right time in a safe manner, and will act with integrity, empathy, and trustworthiness every single day. The Store Puller will achieve desired results by executing these core roles.

Core Roles:

Sales:

• Pulls tickets in the proper order
• Has understanding of warehouse operations such as bin locations and accuracy
• Parts are pulled quickly and accurately
• Assists Driver Coordinator to finalize tickets
• Assists drivers in loading parts into delivery vehicles
• Assists drivers in unloading returned parts back into store
• Has an awareness of where each driver is currently at on their route
• Assists in keeping location clean, organized, and clutter free to ensure efficient operations
• Does their part to ensure customers receive order within the allotted time frame

Safety:

• Keeps store and work area clean and clutter free
• Utilizes “team lifts” on all heavy and bulky items
• Uses the three point system when climbing ladders
• Reports to manager any violations of company safety policies or unsafe working habits
• Follows company safety guidelines that are laid out in the safety manual

Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service skills, and be able to lift over 40lbs routinely, and move about in a warehouse setting quickly and safely. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. This is not a complete list. Please see Manager for further details.

Skills/Qualifications: Working knowledge of GAAP, Strong math and analytical skills, Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, Highly organized and detail-oriented, Working knowledge of GAAP, problem-solving and time management skills.
