Schedule: Friday–Sunday + 1 dishwashing shift per week

Position Overview
Fallbrook Winery is seeking a reliable, personable, and detail-oriented Wine Steward to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
As a Wine Steward, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, guiding guests through wine tastings, supporting daily operations, and assisting with events. Candidates with prior wine knowledge or tasting room experience are highly preferred; however, we are willing to train the right individual who is eager to learn.
Compensation & Perks
Hourly pay: $17–$20/hour (based on experience)
Tips (pooled or individual, depending on shift structure)
Commission on sales goals
Bonuses for wine club sign-ups
Key Responsibilities
Provide warm, engaging customer service to all guests
Guide guests through wine tastings and make thoughtful recommendations
Educate guests on wines, winemaking, and winery offerings (training provided)
Drive wine sales and promote wine club memberships
Assist guests with wine club sign-ups and member support
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and restrooms
Perform general housekeeping duties (stocking, cleaning, organizing)
Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown
Support team operations and contribute to a positive work environment
Complete one dishwashing shift per week as part of scheduled responsibilities
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused attitude
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Wine knowledge or prior tasting room experience highly preferred
Sales or hospitality experience preferred
Willingness to learn and retain wine knowledge
Must be reliable and available to work weekends (Friday–Sunday)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
