Camp Run-A-Mutt Sorrento Valley in sunny San Diego, CA, is on the hunt for dedicated Yard Attendants to join our cage-free dog daycare and boarding facility. As a Yard Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, happiness, and well-being of our furry campers. This is an active, on-your-feet position where you’ll supervise dog playgroups, monitor behavior, and use positive reinforcement techniques to keep our pack happy and safe. You’ll also help maintain clean and welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces, including tasks like laundry and sanitation.

Here’s a glimpse of your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage dog playgroups in a cage-free environment.
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50+ lbs and assisting with laundry.
- Ensure consistent and punctual attendance to maintain safe playgroup ratios.

We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have at least 1 year of experience working with dogs or in a similar role.
- Genuinely love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Are alert, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Can work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Have reliable transportation and are available to work 25–30 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Are comfortable being on their feet and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
