Summary: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing HVAC projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while overseeing the quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning and implementation of HVAC projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Manage project budgets, including cost forecasting and control. Work with owners and end users. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. 2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including Mechanical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Assign tasks and manage the performance of team members. Provide technical guidance and support as needed. 3. Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction. Address and resolve any project-related issues or disputes. 4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all HVAC installations and systems meet the highest quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and testing of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Oversee the commissioning and handover process to clients. 5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that may arise. Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Present regular project updates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients. Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience in Healthcare or Institutional work is desired. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HVAC project management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior role. Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, design, and installation processes. Proven experience managing large-scale Mechanical projects from conception to completion. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with relevant local and national building codes and safety regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
